Windermere Primary School has a genuine commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles. Through P.E., children become increasingly aware of the importance of exercise and healthy lifestyles, come to understand the importance of warming up and cooling down, and evaluate their own performance and the performance of others. 

We use the PE and Sports Premium to:

• provide training for staff to deliver high quality PE
• provide specialist coaching for lunchtime and after-school clubs
• purchase equipment for new sport and activity opportunities
• access sports competitions and festivals
• provide engaging and motivational sporting activities in addition to curriculum provision
